Mama Luxe Concierge ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 and applicable regulations.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: name, email, phone number, profile photo.
• Booking data: service requests, addresses, scheduled times, payment references.
• Medical & emergency data (optional): blood type, allergies, conditions, emergency contacts — provided by you for SOS use.
• Payment data: M-Pesa receipts and transaction metadata. We do not store full card or bank credentials.
• Location data: with your consent, to dispatch the nearest rider or pro.
• Device & usage data: IP, browser, app version, error logs.

2. How we use your data

• Provide and improve the service (bookings, dispatch, support, billing).
• Respond to SOS requests and share necessary details with responders.
• Send transactional communication (receipts, status, security alerts).
• Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

3. Sharing

We share data only with: assigned service providers (vendors, riders, pros, CS agents) on a need-to-know basis; payment processors (Safaricom M-Pesa); regulators or courts when required by law. We do not sell your data.

4. Retention

Account and transactional records are retained for at least 7 years for tax and compliance. You may request deletion of personal identifiers at any time — see Delete my account. Financial records are anonymized rather than removed where the law requires us to keep them.

5. Your rights

• Access, correct, or download your data.
• Request deletion or restriction of processing.
• Withdraw consent for optional data (location, medical profile).
• Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) of Kenya.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is gated by role-based controls and row-level security. We log and audit access to sensitive data.
